The syllables in this example are from the database described in Vestergaard et al. (2009), Table 1. Specifically, they are the /da/ and the /de/ from spoke 1, point 7 (GPR, 137 Hz; VTL, 15.8 cm), the speaker with the lowest pitch in the database.
